The hotel is exceptional clean with Australian owners that really do go out of their way to help you with everything including advice, maps, travel plans and arranging good tuk-tuk drivers. The rooms are superb with excellent modern and spacious facilitites including bathroom. The top two floors of this hotel also have magnificent views over the ocean.

Location : The Golden Sand Hotel is a 3-star hotel just 5 minutes walk from Occheteul / Serendipity Beach. The room was large and clean with bedding and towels changed daily, the housekeeping made an excellent job of keeping the bathroom spotless. Plenty of hot water and the pressure was very good in both the shower and the bath. The room had all the expected facilities including a large well stocked mini bar with beer, soft drinks and water with an additional 2 free bottles of water a day. The air conditioning was exceptional quiet and the TV provided at least 30 channels with excellent reception. With a large swimming pool clean daily I would not ask for more.
