Guest Friendly Hotels Manila UPDATED November 2024 Manila is the capital city of Philippines as well as the second largest city of the country located on the eastern shore of Manila Bay. While there are sixteen districts in Manila, they are two main areas of Manila known for it’s bargirl and freelance action: The Ermita & Malate district and Makati. The Ermita & Malate district is the biggest concentration and oldest. You can find loads of freelancers in one of the many lively bars along M.H.Del Pilar and Mabini street such as L.A. Café (now called Manila Bay Cafe), G-spot or Amazonia. The second, Makati, is located in the more upscale business district, only a short cab ride away from The Ermita & Malate district, around Burgos Street, known to have the best looking entertainers and bikini bars of Manila. List of Guest Friendly Hotels in Manila, Philippines Here the guest friendly hotels centrally located in Makati, Ermita & Malate near the nightlife scene in Manila. Guest Friendly Hotels in Makati
Location : LPL Suites is a budget hotel in this prime location just opposite to Greenbelt 5, where the neighborhood is safe and clean. So no need a taxi or a driver to get around anywhere in Makati from here. For a budget accommodation in a prime location this is exceptional value for money. Guest Friendly policy reply by The LPL Suites Greenbelt :
Location : The Boulevard Mansion Hotel is one of my favourite hotels in Ermita as it is very guest friendly and a great location too, just minutes from the Manila Bay Cafe, formerly known as the L.A. Cafe which is the biggest venue for Phillipino freelancers and is open twnety four hours a day. The studios at the hotel are budget apartments but extremely well equipped with a kitchenette that includes cooking wares to dining crockery and cutlery, a small dining area, corner sofa, TV with great selection of English channels, free WiFi which is fast and always works really well and comfortable beds. The are rooms are old and a little tired in appearance but there is a certain charm that has me coming back again and again. Dependent on where your room is located you will be able to see the girls from L.A. Cafe on the second floor up! Guest Friendly policy reply by The Boulevard Mansion Hotel :
Location : The Makati Palace Hotel could not be better located just on the corner of Burgos street and the girle bars, everything you could possibly need is within walking distance. The room I had was spacious with amazing views over Manila, the king size bed was very comfortable and I found that I slept really well despite the heavy traffic noise. The mini bar was extremely expensive however there is the added bonus of a 7-eleven on the corner so you can get everything you might want there at a fraction of the price. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone that is looking for cheap accommodation, prime location. Guest Friendly policy reply by The Makati Palace Hotel :
Location : The Oxford Suites set in the centre of Makati night life is definitely not for families as it is on the corner of Burgos Street with its go-go bars and all the other goings on. The room was clean and spacious with generally good furnishings, TV air conditioning and a nice bathroom. The staff was very friendly and the food simply amazing. Guest Friendly policy reply by The Best Western Oxford Suites Makati :
Location : The Royal Bellagio Hotel is set right in the middle of Burgos Street (Manila’s red light district) and for action look no further! The room was compact and best suited to a solo traveller, everything was clean and tidy and the room offered a comfortable bed, mini bar, TV with a good selection of channels. No in room safe but everything else that you would expect. The staff are very helpful. For location this hotel cannot be better. TIP: Try to get a room higher up to avoid street noise. 119 LP Leviste Street, Salcedo Village, Makati, Manila, Philippines 1227 Location : The Picasso Boutique Serviced Residences are just a short walk from Greenbelt and its lovely safe, green neighbourhood. Taxis are not needed to get around Makati from here as everything is within reach. The rooms and bathrooms are fully equipped with everything you could need and finished to the highest standards, the in room WiFi connection was brilliant. Very modern, clean and comfortable there is nothing more you could want. Guest Friendly policy reply by The The Picasso Boutique Serviced Residences :
588 Pedro Gil cor M.H. Del Pilar, Malate, Manila, Philippines 1004 Location : The Hyatt is one of the newest in its category, and this is shown in the building and amenities. The rooms here are big and spacious, spotlessly clean with extra comfortable bed and all admentites you can need. Hotel also provides a bar, restaurant, finess centre, outdoor pool, spa. This plus the location is right in the heart of all the action in Malate/Ermita, a idea place to stay. Guest Friendly policy reply by The New World Manila Bay Hotel (formerly Hyatt Regency Hotel) :
Esperanza Street corner Makati Avenue, Ayala Center, Makati, Manila, Philippines 1228 Location : The New World Makati City is just next to Greenbelt in the Makati district in a very secure area where you can be sure not to get bothered. The hotel was perfect from the super comfortable beds to the softest of pillows and everything you could possibly need provided in the room. Great views over the business district from the room. The hotel also offers a great swimming pool and a number of bars and restaurants to choose from and the added extra of spa services. The only disappointment was that there was no WiFi or internet connection and the bath was a little small to use if you are quite tall but this wasn’t really a worry. Lovely stay close to the action. Guest Friendly policy reply by The New World Makati Hotel :
Location : The Manila Peninsula is in the modern central district of Manila, and is a top class hotel which is run very efficiently. The rooms are large and attractively decorated with everything you could need to make you stay perfect. The beds are so comfortable that you sink into them and are guaranteed a good night’s sleep. Spotlessy clean with everything working as one would expect in a five star hotel. The service is as expected in a five star hotel and the highlight is breakfast which is simply outstanding, and a lovely way to wake up. Guest Friendly policy reply by The The Peninsula Manila :
Guest Friendly Hotels in Ermita & Malate
Location : The Swagman Hotel is not the Ritz but certainly a good economy style hotel. Room are correct and come with all the basic amenities. A good option for first time visitors as they offer a free pick up and transfer to the airport and bush shuttles to other areas of the country such as Angeles, Subic bay, Puerto Galera, etc. Guest Friendly policy reply by The Swagman Hotel :
Location : The Executive Plaza Hotel has a good location with Robinson’s Mall just two clocks away, the world-famous LA Cafe (renamed Manila Bay Cafe these days) three blocks away and the Bay a simple four block walk. The Hyatt with the big casino is also just across the street if this is your thing. The hotel is not fancy and you won’t get Vegas style opulence or a great array of amenities, however if you are looking for a well looked after hotel with spacious rooms, excellent service from uniformed staff and a safe enviroment then this is the right choice. Guest Friendly policy reply by The Executive Plaza Hotel :
Location : The Las Palmas hotel is set right in the heart of Malate and just a few minutes walk from the night time offerings. The cheaper rooms are compact but reasonably priced with comfortable beds, TV with lots of English channels and fully functioning air conditioning. The bathroom is spotlessly clean with a powerful shower which has plenty of hot water. The only downside to this hotel is that the internet is very expensive, all in all though a good choice with a very good security policy. Guest Friendly policy reply by The Las Palmas Hotel :
Location : The Lotus Garden is a recently refurbished hotel in Malate that offers unbeatable value for money in a prime downtown location. The rooms are clean with free WiFi and the breakfast buffet is also included in the price. Jacuzzi, fitness room and billard also available. The staff was friendly and always on hand to help, and security will call your room when you’re “guest” leaves the hotel. If true value for your money if you’re looking for something in the Ermita\Malate district. Guest Friendly policy reply by The Lotus Garden Hotel :
Location : The Orchid Garden Suites is an older hotel starting to show signs of wear, however don’t judge this by looks as the comfort levels are really good, the standard rooms are a little small but clean and well furnished. The suites however are very spacious with fully equipped kitchen, seperate living area and lovely bedroom. The staff as you would expect in the Phillipines are kind and really helpful. Guest Friendly policy reply by The Orchid Garden Suites :
Location : The Riviera Mansion Hotel I picked from the reviews of other travellers on Tripadvisor is situated just a couple of minutes from the LA Cafe (now called Manila Bay Cafe) and a couple of dollars taxi ride to Makati, Mall of Asia or Greenbelt. During my stay I was glad to see the hotel meet all the lastest amenities. The rooms was recently renovated and clean and exceptionally comfortable with over 80 channels on offer from the TV. The air conditioning worked perfectly if a little noisy at times when left on the high setting. Guest Friendly policy reply by The Riviera Mansion Hotel :
Location : The Rothman Hotel is a great place to stay, very close to all the attractions of Malate and Ermita. The rooms offer excellent amenities including soft comfortable beds, cable TV and refridgerator. There is no free WiFi in the rooms and you have to purchase internet cards but on the whole everything about the hotel is very clean with the added bonus of back up generators should the power go down. Guest Friendly policy reply by The Rothman Hotel :
CCP Complex, Roxas Boulevard Pasay, Manila Bay, Manila, Philippines Location : The Sofitel Plaza Manila Hotel is a spotlessly clean and elegant hotel offering eveything you could possibly want. Lovely room with ultra comfy bed and super soft pillows and a lovely balcony which gave a mgnificent view of the swimming pool and Manila Bay area. Bar, restaurant, spa, golf, tennis court, outdoor pool and fitness center also available. The only disappointment was that there was no WiFi included in the price, having said this it was still much lower in price than I paid at the Makati Shangri-La’ for the same amenities and service Guest Friendly policy reply by The Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila Hotel :
M. Adriatico corner General Malvar Streets, Malate, Manila, Philippines 1004 Location : The Pan Pacific in Manila offers good value compared to the other five star hotels available in the area. The check in is fast and there are welcoming drinks on arrival during this time. The standard room is well located with a great view of the Manila Bay. The bathroom was also spacious with a sliding window that seperates the bath (with its own TV!) from the bedroom. The king sized bed was super comfortable bed perfect to relax into with pristine cotton sheets and down feathered pillows. Complimentary internet access and a huge LCD TV. The pool area offers a quiet place to relax with plenty of chairs for soaking up the sun. Guest Friendly policy reply by The Pan Pacific Manila :
