Philippines is without any doubt the biggest adult travel destination, one of the main in South-East Asia and Angeles City obviously the most well-known cities for tourists as it is the center of nightlife entertainment visited by millions of travellers each year.

The famous Fields Avenue (similar to Walking Street in Pattaya) is the main nightlife strip high concentration of strip clubs and girly bars. Hundreds of bars, gogo bars, nightclubs, restaurants all crammed into an eight block radius. Single men seeking a long term companion with whom to explore the rest of the country often start their tour here.

There are also a number of worthwhile go-go bars located outside of this area called “Perimeter Bars” that will require a short tuk-tuk ride.

Location : The Kokomos is located right on Fields Avenue, the heart of the action on Walking Street of Angeles City. The rooms set on the second floor are decent in size with queen sized beds, cable TV, refridgerator and fully functioning air conditioning. There is also an open air bar and restaurant which is open 24 hours you can enjoy the nightlife. The pool at the back is also a nice way to relax daytime with reasonably priced drink. While sometime a little bit noisy due to the location, with the Fields Avenue at your proximity this is very good value for money.

Location : The Phoenix Hotel is a nice pretty hotel located 10 minutes from the action on the perimeter road. Although the rooms are compact and basic they come with all the necessary amenities : refridgerator, satellite TV with good selection of channels, air conditioning and free WiFi. The swimming pool and bar area at the back of the hotel make for a lovely place to sit and relax. For a budget to mid range hotel this definitely represents good value for money.

Location : The Orchid Inn Resort is another guest friendly hotel with a great location right next to the Angeles strip and in the middle of many restaurants and bars. The rooms here are big and very clean and although the hotel show signs of age, come with all the facilities you would expect. The poolside rooms are favourable as they are central in location and away from the traffic noise. With Free WiFi available in public areas like the restaurant and in your room depending of the location, all in all this hotel is an excellent location and average in standard, however you can get some very interesting prices with the promotions that are on offer.

Location : The Century Resort Hotel is located just a few blocks from the Fields Avenue (walking street) and bar scene, only 5 minutes by foot with the advantage you are away from the noise. The superior room was well equipped, and recently renovated with modern furnishings, comfortable bed, cable TV, fast free WiFi. The bathroom was clean and functional with excellent water pressure for both hot and cold. Breakfast is included in the price and for anyone who likes a little flutter there is a Casino located behind the hotel. A good place to explore for fun and entertainment.

Location : The Wild Orchid Resort is the perfect guest friendly hotel for single males seeking confortable rooms in Angeles City. Located just three block from Fields avenue (the main strip of Angeles city), the rooms although a little pricey are clean, spacious and cozy; offering high speed internet, TV with great selection of international channels and good soundproofing… The best spot of this hotel is probably the two stunning swimming pools (open 24 hours a day and that have swim up bars) and the two restaurants with quality food and fast service plus the excellent staff that are only too happy to assist you. A great guest friendly hotel highly recommend.

Location : The Angeles Beach Club is a top of it’s class hotel ideally located just few minutes from Fields Avenue. Rooms here are large, clean and confortable. They even have something special with playboy style with the neon lights and velvet padded headboards. This hotel has been host to a variety of clubs running wild events over the years, so if you are looking for fun and parties this is the place to be in Angeles. With excellent service (Helicopter service from the rooftop, for a flat rate of 12500 PHP (280$) you can fly straight to Manila and the airport) and swimming pool opened 24/7 one of the best, this is definitely not a family resort oriented and but best-in class.

Location : The Holiday Inn Clark Hotel, not the normal Holiday Inn, this particular hotel surpassed my expectations. The hotel has been recently renovated so was very modern with really confortable rooms, well equipped with large confortable beds, quiet air conditioning and a walk in shower. Entertainment side, you’ll need a 10 mins taxi ride to reach the Angeles and all nightlife has to offer. The hotel does provide a 24/7 car to town service and charges 300 Pesos (7$) each way.

Location : The Lewis Grand Hotel is a decent hotel located right on Fields Avenue, about 20 min walk from bars and entertainment areas, few minutes by free hotel shuttle bus. The rooms are clean, well kept, modern offering everything you could need such as comfortable bed, TV with plenty channels, well stocked, reasonably priced mini bar, tea and coffee making facilities and a decent sized balcony which is a lovely place to sit and have breakfast. The bathroom was huge with rainfall shower head and plenty of hot water. With a top class service, excellent food plus a fabulous swimming pool, and a good location far enough from the street noise, you can not ask for more.
