Entertainment side you will find all you need at Sabang and Sabang Beach the place to be by night. Around 6 or 7 girlie bars (often self-described as discos) along the main drag with anywhere from 30 to 50 dancers each and numerous smaller bars along the beach. While the selection is much more limited than in Angeles City, being near the ocean is a big plus since Puerto Galera offer some really nice beaches and excellent diving opportunities for daytime activities. Location : The Swengland Beach Resort is a budget accommodation set in Big Laguna about a 10 – 15 minute walk to get to the nightlife in Sabang or a quick boat ride. The rooms are not fancy but clean and functional with Cable TV, air conditioning and a ceiling fan. The bathrooms are small but adequate with good hot water showers. Location : Set in the quiet area of Puerto Galera right next to ferry pier between White beach and Sabangs’ nightlife, The Badladz Adventure Resorts is great value for money ; with a motorbike ride just 150 PHP. The rooms are basic but exceptionally clean with comfortable bed, TV, air conditioning and fan facility and a functional bathroom with hot water shower. Location : The Tropicana Castle Resort is the first thing that you will see as the boat pulls into Sabang. The weird looking castle at the top of the hill! This hotel is really unique and the views over the bay and the mountains are quite spectacular. The rooms are very spacious with tasteful decor in keeping with the castle theme. In my room was one of the best stocked mini bars I have ever seen! My bathroom was huge with both shower and bath. Considering the room rate and what was on offer a good value for money. Location : La Laguna Beach Resort is right on the beach with Sabang and all the action you can imagine a short 10 – 15 minute walk. My room although quite basic was clean with air conditioning, Satellite/Cable TV, mini bar, in room safe and good bathroom with a proper hot shower. The bar that overlooks the bay was a lovely place to mix with the other guests with music, TV and a pool table to shoot a few balls whilst enjoying a drink. Location : The Scandinavian Divers is set on Big La Laguna Beach approximately 10 – 15 minutes walk from Sabang’s exotic nightlife and girly bars. The rooms are clean and comfortable with air conditiong, Satellite TV, mini bar and WiFi. Good bathroom with excellent endless supply of hot water. There are two restaurants, one downstairs with a bar and swimming pool that stays reasonably shaded and another upstairs aptly named the Sky Bar which is open air where you can catch plenty of sun whilst listening to music, watching TV or if these don’t appeal shoot a few games of pool while you relax and chill out. Location : The Mermaid Resort could not be better situated. It is close to everything but far enough away to enjoy some peace and quiet of a night time. The service was top class, with exceptional clean and well equipped rooms including a safe, great air conditioning, Cable TV, reasonably priced mini bar. Beautiful marble bathroom. Sabang Beach Central, Oriental Mindoro, Sabang, Puerto Galera, Philippines 5203    Location : The Sabang Oasis Hotel is just a minute’s walk from the main strip with all the bars, but far enough away to ensure a good nights sleep. The rooms are immaculately clean and spacious with a nice firm mattress on the bed and the facilities that one would expect such as a safe, fully functioning air conditioning, Satellite/Cable TV, mini bar and WiFi. The bathroom was adequate with a good powerful hot shower. Pretty much all the things that made me feel at home here. On the rooftop there is also a lovely terrace with bar and swimming pool which are great duo for cooling off after having beer whilst enjoying the sun. Location : The Portifino resort is found on Little Sabang Beach just 10 minutes walk from the nightlife and noise that is Sabang’s entertainment area. The basic rooms are a little tired looking and in need of a refurb but they are clean and functional, perfect for the solo traveller looking to rest their head or bring a companion back for the night. The 1 bedroom units are superb. The best place here to chill and relax was the restaurant and bar area that is set around the small swimming pool with lovely beachfront views.
